I have read many laugh-out-loud test answers online and in books. There is a sameness about the answers in this collection. They seem as if a single person wrote every answer and with the same degree of snarkiness. Unfortunately, I didn’t find this book entertaining or clever.
British humor and sense of understatement reighs here. I am of the opinion that the students who made up these answers should get an E or an American A for comic imagination. The author is good at the presentation of the answers in his books, which often included the drawings and doodles found on the test papers. Good for a belly laugh after a long tense day at work.
Richard Benson's series of books on this topic are a side-splitting, good read! We have ALL of them, and there are favorites that we read again and again. It just goes to show, that even though the students are going to "fail" the test, they surely won't "fail" in their ability to "pass" through life with a sense of humor!
Absolutely hysterical read! Purchased this as a stocking stuffer for a teacher and everyone was entertained and laughing for hours! Any teacher will appreciate it!
First saw one of the books in this series at a coffee shop and we laughed so hard I had to buy them. If your sense of humor tends toward laughing at others' mistakes, this will be hilarious for you. No harm, no foul!
This book is hilarious!!! I bought this for my high school son who is ALWAYS testing. My husband and I have both read this book & laughed the entire time!
I gave this to my brother in law who is a teacher as a gift for Christmas. He really enjoyed it and we all got a kick out of it!
It's funny but in a very smart funny kind of way. It seemed like something my son would enjoy but most of the references are way over a 12 year old's head. It would work well for any adult, but just didn't work well for my purposes.
