This book is WORTHLESS as a travel guide! It's so infuriating that it's masquerading as a real travel guide. All the positive reviews must be FAKE. They in no way accurately describe the "book". Trust the one other 1-star review. It really is just a booklet listing 101 things, each with a brief description. You could do much better just looking at the first review of the top 101 things on TripAdvisor. Unlike a real travel guide, there are no maps, travel tips, hotels, restaurants. It's literally just a list of 101 things. Save your money, time, and sanity, and AVOID. This publisher should be ashamed of themselves for this waste of paper and space and perpetuating this HOAX (I see they have "guides" for other countries as well). Amazon - get rid of these idiots. I'm getting my money back.
Well, what could you do to make a more worthless travel guide? Hm, omit any maps? Done in this "book"! Don't even provide addresses for half the locations? Done! Don't list prices? Done! Don't list dates or times of events? Done! Have a list of 101 Marketing BS claims? Done! Omit an index or even chapter headings? Done! Refuse to categorize the activities? Done!This book has it all, if all you want is NOTHING! This book is not only not worth the money, it wasn't worth the time you spent to read this review.Example: Cool thing #1 is "Eat Egg Pudding From Jiufen Bus Station" Need I say more?
This book provides good travel info for tourists to Taiwan with a relatively inexpecsive price. The suggestions / choices are fairly good for visitors. Most of them can be found directly on Google map, although a couple of them seemed to have a different translation. A map with more detailed description would be helpful, but it will cost more, likely lots more.

You can find everything in Taiwan – sunny days, beach life, ocean, diving, surfing, mountain climbing, beautiful nature, exotic food, temples, museums, festivals and even skiing. Yes, they have also snow in Taiwan. See fireflies in Carp Bond and celebrate the Chinese New Year on Taiwan. Really cool and professional travel guide.
